Lisa Zunshine is a scholar of 18th-century British literature, whose interests include cultural historicism, narrative theory, and cognitive approaches to literary and cultural studies (with a particular emphasis on Theory of mind and fiction). She was born in Russia, came to the United States as a refugee when she was twenty-one, and became a U.S. citizen in 1998.
